We offer a choice of five unique retreats encompassing the best of both worlds, created for you to share when you need to get away from it all, because we have known of that need and these are our best loved places! Each is quiet and fully self contained set in its own garden, yet is only minutes away from the amenities looked for by holiday makers - restaurants, shops, fishing, swimming, boating, golfing, walking tracks etc. For wildlife enthusiasts nature can be observed from your bed as we encourage native birds to nest on and visit our properties. The east coast Cottages also offer a unique opportunity to view an ostrich chick hatchery during the season, while the west coast Cottage is not far from a seal colony. Because of our special involvement with wildlife, we regret that we cannot welcome your pets at any of our Cottages. This is your chance to stay in pioneer Cottages featured in West Coast Reins, an historical novel. The first in a trilogy by Beverley Bassett Broad. We also have a handy flat in Christchurch City. All properties supply linen and are let out on a "leave as you find" basis.
